If you've been with us a while, you’ve seen us through a few transformations.
We started out as Beard Monster. Then came Monster Flesh & Mane. And now… we’ve simplified again. We’re just Flesh & Mane now.
It’s still us. Same hands making the products. Same faces behind the scents. Still the Creature and the Bride, still a little gritty, still a little wild. But this shift? It reflects where we’re really at now — and where we’re going next.
Why the Change?
The truth is, the monster part of the brand was fun — it gave us color and energy when we started. But over time, it also became limiting. We felt boxed in by the theme. It became harder to grow, harder to speak clearly to the people we were actually making this stuff for.
Flesh & Mane brings the focus back to you — your flesh, your mane, your rituals. It's still got roots in who we were, but it’s more grounded. More flexible. More real.Less
And after years of building, experimenting, and learning... it just fits.
What's New (And What’s Better)
This isn’t just a logo swap and a new name slapped on the same old jars. There’s a lot going on under the hood:
✚ Bigger Soap Bars
Our soaps are now about 12% larger, giving you more lather, more washes, more value.
✚ Upgraded Shampoo & Conditioner
New bottles. New formulas. Better performance.
If you haven’t tried them lately, now’s the time.
✚ Sample Beard Oil Pack — Fewer Scents, More Oil
We streamlined the sample pack to include fewer fragrances, but each bottle now has 4ml more oil than before. That’s a lot of extra use per bottle.
✚ Smarter, More Effective Soaps
We’ve added beneficial ingredients across the board — like charcoal, kaolin, alkanet root, and French green clay.
Before, a bar like Marie Laveau was just soap and mica. Now, everything pulls its weight.
Fragrance Rework
Every scent we offer today is a grown-up version of what it used to be. We’ve reformulated to deepen the complexity and bring better balance.
You might’ve tried a scent before — but it’s worth trying again. These versions are more rounded, more intentional, more us.
All Scents in All Products
We’re finally doing what we should’ve done long ago: every scent is now available in every product.
No more splitting fragrances into “beard scents” vs. “soap scents.” No more outdated gender lines.
If you want Bride in your beard oil, you can have it.
If you want Wolfman deodorant, go for it.
This shift is part of us getting a little more clearheaded. We’re making what we love, and letting people use it however the hell they want.

Don’t worry — if you reach out to the old email, we’ll still get it. But going forward, keep an eye out for our new address.
What’s Coming Next
We trimmed our lineup, simplified the store, and cleared the deck for what’s next.
That means:
- More limited-edition drops
- More seasonal experiments
- More collaborations
- More new products, brought to life with the same energy we started with years ago
We got a little stagnant for a while, we’ll be honest. But we’re back now. This rebrand isn’t the end — it’s the reset button. The first step in a louder, livelier chapter of Flesh & Mane.
Thanks for sticking with us. We’ve got some wild stuff on the way.
