Profile: The New Scent Lineup

Profile: The New Scent Lineup

As part of our rebrand, we’ve taken a long, hard look at every scent and every soap formula. Some of these characters have been with us a long time. But just like people evolve, so do monsters—and we wanted each one to reflect the direction we’re heading: more complex, more balanced, and made with better stuff.

Here’s how they’ve changed:

Bride – Haunted Sweetshop

Scent: We kept the chocolate base you know and love but layered in juniper and subtle woods to give this scent a little bite. The result is mellower and more natural, like a haunted walk in the forest with something rich on your tongue.

Soap: We used to rely solely on cocoa powder, but now the bar includes oatmeal and French green clay for a more nourishing, skin-friendly cleanse.

Countess – Luscious Lemongrass

Formerly Elizabeth Bathory

Scent: Lemongrass and amber are still the star duo, but we’ve added vetiver to ground the brightness and give it some real body. She’s still sharp, but now she’s sophisticated too.

Soap: Still made with goat milk, but now we’ve added rose kaolin clay to match the elegance of the scent.

Creature – Frankincense Monster

Scent: Creature’s always been about that nostalgic sweetness—bergamot, frankincense, vanilla. But now it dives deeper. We’ve added a blend of oakmoss, marine florals, and white musk—what we call the Cthulhu Blend. It’s creamy, a little salty, and full of mystery.

Soap: We ditched the poppy seeds for a smoother experience, added French green clay, and kept the charcoal. Less scrub, more story.

Dracula – Cemetery Rose

Scent: This one was almost all rose before—gorgeous but a little too heady. Now, the rose sinks into a foundation of woods and spice, making this scent more balanced, more cologne-like, and a lot more wearable.

Soap: No changes here. Goat milk and rose kaolin clay remain.

Priestess – Sweet Southern Bourbon

Formerly Marie LaVeau

Scent: No changes. This one already hit the mark with its Southern Comfort vibe and bourbon-sweet edge. The colors got an upgrade. We swapped the Mardi Gras gold for black with charcoal, boosted the green with French green clay, and added alkanet root powder for a richer purple.

Spectre –  Antique Orange

Formerly Ghostly Pirate

Scent: This one’s evolved from straight nautical to something older, deeper. Atlas cedar now anchors the citrus and spice, giving it a rich, antique quality like an old spice chest pulled from a sunken ship.

Soap: Still loaded with charcoal and pumice, but now with blue kaolin clay to round out the feel.

Witch – Mystic Resins

Scent: We introduced vetiver to give it more earth and body. Still the same mysterious, herbal vibe, just with a stronger connection to the soil. If you miss Viking, this one’s stepping into those boots a bit.

Soap: We added alkanet root powder and blue kaolin clay for depth and that cleansing boost.

Wolfman – Feral Forest

Scent: We took the best parts of Wolfman and Bigfoot and merged them into a more dynamic forest blend. Fir, cedar, and a dash of our white musk give it that wild, grounded energy with a hint of mystery.

Soap: Still got that charcoal base, but now we’ve added pumice powder and French green clay. Plus, we’ve ground the fir needles finer than before—so it exfoliates, but it won’t bite.
