The Bride is rustic, country, a scent that calls to mind fresh mountain air and wildflowers. It's a good unisex scent that works for anyone who likes the scent of sunny meadows and the little flowers that grow at the edge of the forest. The blend is inspired by mountain ash, a plant native to Northern Europe that is both sacred to the thunder god Thor and considered holy enough to ward off evil in Celtic mythology.
The soap itself contains cocoa powder and coloidal oatmeal, both of which are excellent for the health of your skin. Cocoa powder is rich in antioxidants but really it's the oatmeal that shines here. The natural proteins in oats have been used as a soothing, softening agent in soaps for hundreds of years. Maybe longer - we're not sure.
